Fishing on the Tiguil riverType of travel: rafting and fishing
The Tiguil river starts in the spurs of the central part of the Sredinny(Central) mountains and falls into the sea of Okhotsk. The upper river flows in the mountains which gradually turn into the hilly plains and coastal lowlands. The total length of the river is about 245 km. The total length of rafting is about 90 km.
Objects of fishing: Siberian Salmon, Silver Salmon, Silversides, Rainbow Trout.
Conditions: Transfer from the village Esso and back by helicopter, from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski to Esso by bus. Lodging during the fishing in double tents. Fishing while rafting is conducted on 16-18 feet rafts. Each raft allows location of no more than 3 fishermen. The guide steers the raft by means of two rows, so the anglers do not need to participate in rowing. Fishing is from the raft and from the shore.
Program: Day 1 Meeting at the airport of Elizovo. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski (40 minutes). Settling in a hotel. Rest.
Day 2 Departure by bus to Esso (520 km, 10 hours). Settling in a private hotel. Bathing in a pool with hot thermal water.
Day 3 Flying by helicopter “Mi-8” to the upper reaches of the river Tiguil (45 minutes). Lunch. Beginning of rafting. Fishing.
Days 4-10 Fishing while rafting Camping in tents on the riverbank.
Day 11 Ending of the rafting. Transfer to Esso by helicopter (1 hour). Settling in a hotel. Bathing in a pool with hot thermal water.
Day 12 A bus ride to Paratunka. Settling in a lodge.
Day 13 Reserve day.
Day 14 Transfer to the airport. Departure back home.
The price of the trip includes: Transfer, transportation (bus, helicopter), staying at a hotel and at a lodge (double rooms), meals on the track, the services of guides and the cook, the group equipment (vessels, tents, kitchen, life vests), fishing licenses (individual licenses for each day are required), visa invitation and visa registration.

Necessary personal equipment: A hydro bag, a backpack or a bag for personal things, a sleeping bag (temp. up to -10c.), an air mattress or a polyurethane mat (care-mat), waders or jackboots, spare footwear, a raingear with cape, a set of warm clothes (a coat, a sweater, socks, a cap, gloves), a waterproof cloak, a light cap, a bathing outfit, articles of personal hygiene, sunglasses, sunscreen cream, a repellent, a personal first-aid kit, fishing rods and tackle.
