Fishing on Bolshaya river

The Bolshaya river is merged from two big tributaries: the river Bystraya on the right and the river Plotnikov on the left. The total length of the river Bolshaya and Bystraya is 275km, the area of water surface is 10800sq km, while the length of the river Plotnikov, which falls into Bolshaya at 55 kilometers from the mouth, is 134km, the area of water surface is 4450sq km. The Bolshaya is the biggest river of the western coast of Kamchatka. The river plays an important role in the reproduction of western Kamchatka Salmons.
Conditions: Transfer to the river and back by bus. During the fishing you will lodge in double tents at a stationary camp. The fishing is conducted in the following ways:
Program:
Дay 1 Meeting at the airport of Elizovo. Transfer to the river Bolshaya (200km) by vehicles. Lodging in the tents on the riverbank.
Дay 2 Fishing from the shore. Camping on the riverbank.
Дays 3-7 Fishing from motor boats, camping on the bank.
Дay 8 Completing the fishing. Departure for Paratunka by vehicles. Settling at a lodge. Rest. Bathing in a pool with hot thermal water.
Дay 9 Transfer to the airport, departure back home.
The price of the trip includes: Transfer, transportation (bus), staying at a lodge (double rooms), meals on the track, the services of guides and the cook, group equipment (vessels, tents, kitchen, life vests), fishing licenses (individual licenses for each day are required), visa invitation and visa registration.

Necessary personal equipment: A hydro bag, a backpack or a bag for personal things, a sleeping bag (temp. up to -10c.), an air mattress or a polyurethane mat (care-mat), waders or jackboots, spare footwear, a raingear with cape, a set of warm clothes (a coat, a sweater, socks, a cap, gloves), a waterproof cloak, a light cap, a bathing outfit, articles of personal hygiene, sunglasses, sunscreen cream, a repellent, a personal first-aid kit, fishing rods and tackle. Additional information: The period of staying at the river can be extended or shortened. |
